Wellness Trails

The Wellness Trails provide safe, natural surroundings in which children and adults, as well as the elderly, can walk and enjoy nature. Daily walks encourage health and wellness while fostering environmental stewardship. Children can learn to identify birds, dragonflies, butterflies, and trees. Adults can watch the leaves turn golden in the autumn and enjoy group activities on the basketball court. Elderly clients can visit on resting benches under pavilions. The Trails enable Opportunities to continue its mission of assisting developmentally disabled individuals in attaining a full and healthy life.
