Adult Development

The Adult Development program at the Adult Services Center at Opportunities, Inc. provides daily specialized services for adults who have developmental disabilities. Consumers are trained in the skills of daily living while increasing their independence and self-sufficiency. Service areas for Texas includes Bowie County. In Arkansas we serve Miller and Little River Counties.

Work Training

Opportunities’ Work Training program presents a variety of work experiences for adults who have developmental disabilities. Consumers learn work related skills, and business contracts in the community provide employment and wages. Service area includes Miller and Little River Counties in Arkansas.

Adult Day Center

The Adult Day Center is an adult day and community integration program. The goals of the program are to help adults explore and identify what is important to them, to develop the skills necessary to achieve their goals and to be involved in their communities through volunteering and community activities. Individual support and small-group activities promote interaction and learning. The program is designed to help individuals access their communities in their daily lives, recreational and leisure activities. It incorporates volunteering, community activities, independent living and skill building, using a small group model.
