On a beautiful October 23rd morning, the Texarkana community gathered at 10:30 a.m. to celebrate something truly special – the grand opening of our new greenhouse project and the launch of Shred It TXK mobile shredding service. With the Texarkana Chamber of Commerce leading the ribbon cutting ceremony, it was a day that highlighted how individuals with disabilities are making meaningful contributions to our community.

The stunning new greenhouse isn’t just a place to buy plants – it’s a symbol of growth, opportunity, and inclusion. Every plant you purchase supports employment for individuals with disabilities who take pride in nurturing these gardens. The greenhouse welcomes visitors during these upcoming hours:

– Wednesdays & Thursdays: 9:30-11:00 a.m. (October 29-30, November 5-6)
– Fridays: 9:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. (October 31, November 7)

But that’s not all we have been growing. Our new Shred It TXK service brings secure, reliable document destruction right to your doorstep. Whether you’re a business needing regular shredding or a family clearing out old files, our mobile service makes it convenient while supporting meaningful employment.

These new ventures join our other wonderful services that you might not know about. Our Wood Shop creates durable wood stakes and takes on custom projects – perfect for your garden or special needs. And with the holidays approaching, our artists are designing beautiful holiday cards that spread joy while showcasing the artistic talents of individuals with disabilities.
